Es una de las tradiciones favoritas de muchos en Washington, D.C. Este jueves, el presidente Donald Trump y la primera dama Melania Trump encenderán el Árbol Nacional de Navidad ubicado en el área conocida como Elipse, frente a la Casa Blanca.
Se espera que la ceremonia empiece a las 5 p.m. Para asistir al evento se necesitan boletos, que ya fueron distribuidos a través de un sistema de lotería gratuito.
Las calles alrededor del área del encendido serán cerradas, por lo que si sueles transitar por ese sector a esa hora debes tomarlo en cuenta.
Las siguientes vías estarán cerradas desde la 1 p.m. hasta las 8 p.m. del jueves:
