“The project plans call for three retail pavilions, offering 100,000 square feet of new space for restaurants, shops and outdoor eating and gathering spaces,” Amazon says.

“Designed with nature in mind, the office buildings are oriented to maximize natural sunlight, with 2.5 acres of public open space and a dog run available for community use,” Amazon says of this rendering of the dog park.

Amazon says “the project will include three LEED Platinum office buildings, public green space, and The Helix, a unique building designed to integrate work with nature,” as seen in this rendering of the view from the Pentagon lagoon.

“Retail and restaurants will provide unique amenities and experiences for all who live, work, and visit the area,” Amazon says.

The Helix, an alternative workplace integrating work with nature, will be open to the public select weekends every month.
